Arajet, the Dominican Republic’s flagship airline and the first low-fare airline in the Caribbean, recently announced the start of U.S. operations. To celebrate its entrance into the United States, the airline offers tickets from Miami (MIA) and San Juan (SJU) to 25 destinations across the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America, starting at just $84.

The airline also launches service from San Juan to Santo Domingo June 5, and Miami to Punta Cana (PUJ) June 13.

Arajet shows no signs of slowing its expansion into the United States. The airline announced on March 10 it will start operations on June 16 from Newark Liberty International Airport to Las Américas Santo Domingo Airport. Round-trip fares will begin at $262.
“Arajet is committed to making air travel accessible and affordable for the Dominican community and American tourists alike, and New York is a key market to strengthen our U.S. presence,” said Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder, Arajet. “The Newark service will complement routes between the DR, Miami, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, to establish Arajet as a carrier of choice for U.S. travelers booking vacations and getaways as well as visiting friends and family. We look forward to welcoming travelers with the convenience, affordability, and exceptional service Arajet is known for.”
