With ever-increasing lines at airport security checkpoints across the country, it´s never been more important to have functional carry-on baggage to ease and quicken the process through security scans. In an effort to improve travelers´ access to carry-on items, Arlo Skye developed a lightweight yet durable suitcase option for easy access and portability.
The Arlo Skye carry-on bag features one-touch opening and closing capabilities and measures 22 inches by 14 inches, with a depth of 9 inches. The TSA-approved luggage is made of a strong aluminum alloy and detailed with grooves on both the front and the back to ensure resistance to damage caused by impact with other objects. Recessed back bumpers and reinforced corners add to the luggage´s ability to maintain its shape and quality if it undergoes hits from curbs, vehicles or when mounting the security conveyor belt.
At a weight of 9.2 pounds, the bag has a volume of 36 liters and comes equipped with a portable charger, two shoe bags, one storage dust bag, one laundry bag and two removable packing panels.
Three colors are available (champagne, sardine silver and penguin black). Beginning in August, the luggage can be purchased on Arlo Skye´s website for $495, with free shipping and handling.
