Art Basel Miami Beach takes place Dec. 6–8. This iconic international art fair features works from worldwide established and emerging artists. To celebrate the event, The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami, and The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, host special programming with a focus on female artists.

The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami partners with female-founded JIGGY Puzzles on a Pop-Up Puzzle Art Gallery Dec. 3–8. This immersive pop-up gallery brings puzzle art to life, with a collection of works from nine artists from JIGGY’s curated roster. Works will be framed by Framebridge, another female-founded company. Puzzles on display include Chi Town Chic by Katy Hirschfeld, Plants Over Plans by Maggie StephensonLazy Girl Book Club by Natalie Linnea,

Flamingo Playground by Karen Lynch, Shoe Shopping by Anjelica Rosely, Dancing with Paradise by Arty Guava, Diamonds and Daisies by Leah Gardner and Bathing with Flowers by Alja Horvat.

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach hosts an installation from award-winning artist Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya. Debuting Dec. 3, this installation is a part of the hotel’s Women in the Spotlight series. The transdisciplinary artist works in sculpture, painting and public art, with themes of loss, amplifying marginalized voices and showcasing cultural identities.

 

“This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the exceptional contributions of women in the arts through Amanda’s impactful work,” said Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, co-owner, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. “Her work speaks to the strength of women and reflects our commitment to amplifying diverse voices and experiences in the arts.”
