Products / Clothing

The clothing market is highly saturated both online and in stores. There are hundreds of retailers that sell clothing at varying prices and it’s hard for consumers to decide which places are reliable and within their budget. There is a trend of stores that advertise one thing but then send something that only looks similar to the product purchased. This is making buyers scared because they don’t want to waste money on something that isn’t what they want. Online stores in particular make buyers nervous because they’re never sure how it’s going to turn out until the clothes actually arrive.

ASOS is an online store. There is a website to accompany the app. The clothing they sell is trendy and new pieces are added to their catalogue daily. What makes this fashion retailer stand out are the reviews and policies. The reviews for the clothing are amazing, almost all from real people with positive experiences. The clothes arrive on time, they fit and it’s what they ordered.

ASOS has a free shipping and free return policy, taking away some of the anxiety shoppers have. With stores that sell lesser-quality clothing, it can often be challenging to try and return the articles of clothing. Allowing buyers to return them for free gives off the impression the website is confident people won’t want to return their purchases. The free shipping also entices people because it means they’re only paying for the products they want and the shipping aspect. It feels more like regular shopping, which comforts consumers.
