Destinations / North America

El Paso is the largest American city resting on the Mexican frontier, and it offers an incredible, diverse cultural experience alongside a rugged landscape. It’s the perfect bachelor party destination for anyone seeking a great combination of thrills and nightlife.

The city sits right alongside the Rio Grande, one of the top rivers in the United States for rafting and kayaking. It’s also close to Franklin Mountains State Park, which offers 27,000 acres of hiking, biking and wildlife viewing opportunities. You can also ride the Wyler Aerial Tramway and see some incredible views at 5,632 feet atop Ranger Peak. Then there’s Hueco Tanks, one of the top rock climbing destinations in Texas.

Nightlife in El Paso isn’t quite as glamorous as Houston or San Antonio, but there are plenty of bars to be found. Rubiks Arcade Bar is a great spot with strong drinks and old-fashioned arcade games set up to enjoy, if you want to indulge your inner child. The Black Orchid Lounge is another great choice that caters to a more luxurious crowd. Gringo Theory is generally where the party is. If you truly want a unique experience, hop the border down to Juarez and check out Kentucky Bar.

El Paso might not have the glitz and glamour of a city like NYC, but it still offers great opportunities for a more adventurous bachelor party and a pretty unique cultural experience right on the border.
