Fortaleza’s coastline of more than 30 kilometers of beaches makes it the perfect destination for a bachelor party getaway with the boys. The city offers an incredible nightlife scene, delicious dining and plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy. While perhaps not as bustling as Rio, the city is a great option for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and thrills of Brazil at a slightly more affordable price.
During the day Fortaleza boasts tons of leisure activities, from kite surfing and paragliding or just lounging on any of the 25 beaches. There’s also the Beira Mar boardwalk, which features numerous restaurants, street vendors and clubs right alongside the sand. The Oasis Atlantico Fortaleza Hotel is found here, and offers luxury accommodations just steps from the beach and a pool with a swim-up bar.
At night, there’s no shortage of clubs and bars to explore. The sprawling Crocobeach complex on Praia do Futuro often showcases live music and DJs. There’s also Arre Égua, one of the most popular spots in the city for the traditional Brazilian dancing known as forró. For a slightly more relaxed feel, you might want to check out Orbita Bar. The rock and roll bar is located in the Dragão do Mar area and often caters to a surf crowd.
