Borrow their slogan: Do AC. Atlantic City is a great spot for a bachelorette party. The New Jersey shore town is easily accessible by plane (Atlantic City Airport), train (NJ Transit), bus (from Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and New York carriers) and the Atlantic City jitney. It’s ideal for locals or out-of-towners to have a memorable bachelorette.
There are plenty of activities available for whatever the bride prefers. If she loves shopping, take her to the Tanger Outlets featuring more than 100 retail outlets. Located just outside the city in Egg Harbor City, organize a winery tasting and tour at Renault Winery. The historic winery offers tours and tastings for $10. Though if beer is more up her alley, stop at Tun Tavern. The brewpub features a rotating tap of craft beers plus a full menu.
One of the city’s largest draws is still its casinos. There are currently seven to choose from: Bally’s Atlantic City, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Caesars at Atlantic City, Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, Resorts Casino Hotel and Tropicana Casino Resort. Test lady luck and stop at one or more.
Besides gambling, the city’s hotels offer plenty of other options. Book a spa treatment at one of the hotel spas. There are great dining options including Bobby Flay Steak, Buddakan and Carmine’s. For nightlife, check out Boogie Nights, the Borgata Comedy Club and Haven Nightclub.
