Best Hiking Cities for 2021

It’s time to hit the trails!

 

Outdoor services provider LawnStarter recently released its study of the best cities in the United States for hiking in 2021. LawnStarter compared 150 of the largest U.S. cities based on 11 factors, including trail access, climate and safety.

 

California is the state to visit for prime hiking opportunities. Eight cities in the state ranked in the top 10, with San Francisco taking the top spot. Overall, the West Coast ranked highest with Portland, Oregon, and Tucson, Arizona, rounding out the top 10. Cities in the south, north and Midwest are less likely to have ideal weather conditions for hiking. Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was one of the cities with the highest average of cold days. Mobile, Alabama, was among the cities with the highest natural hazard risks.

United Continues Its Global Expansion

Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
