Destinations / North America

Head to Canada for your honeymoon. The United States’ neighbor to the north is a great destination for a honeymoon that isn’t too far away, but still feels much different than home. Consider one of these spots for your trip.

Banff
The resort town is located within Banff National Park in Alberta. The destination is ideal for outdoor lovers and offers romantic vistas. If you aren’t the outdoorsy type, there are shopping, dining and cultural activities available, too. Fairmont Banff Springs and The Rimrock Resort Hotel are great lodging options.

Montréal
Located in the Québec province, Montréal combines a city vibe with charming neighborhoods and outdoor attractions. With plenty to see and do, make sure you spend time exploring Old Montréal, the city’s culinary scene and cultural attractions. Book a stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Montréal, InterContinental Montréal or Le Mount Stephen.

Niagara-on-the-Lake
Plan your honeymoon at Niagara-on-the-Lake in Ontario. The quaint town is located north of Niagara Falls. It’s known for its wineries, annual festivals and culinary experiences. Stay at Prince of Wales Hotel, Harbour House Hotel or Shaw Club Hotel.

Vancouver Island
Situated off Canada’s Pacific Ocean coast, Vancouver Island is a charming, quiet honeymoon destination. Couples will find hiking trails, beaches, wineries and restaurants. Depending on where you’d like to call home on the large island, stay at Wickaninnish Inn or Fairmont Empress.
