Santorini’s bright white buildings and cobalt-blue sea, alongside its colorful beaches and ancient sites, make it one of the loveliest places to visit with someone special. After a day of beach lounging or sightseeing, take in the vibrant sunsets while enjoying Greek cuisine and a glass of wine.

Tips / Destination

Greece has many gorgeous islands. Some have vast beaches with white sand and clear blue waters, others are home to quirky characters. No matter where you visit in Greece, there is beauty to be found in every corner.

Santorini

This island has it all. If your trip to Greece is a short one, make sure to include this island above all the others. There’s no better place to find great entertainment, food and beauty. It’s a favorite among many travelers and for good reason. Whether you’re looking for a wine tour or a place to enjoy the ocean, Santorini has it.

Mykonos

This island is known for its amazing nightlife. Recently, Lindsay Lohan opened her own club and restaurant. The spot has been highly reviewed by guests. The island is also a favorite among celebrities when they vacation in Greece. Besides the vibrant nightlife and clubbing, it has beautiful beaches. Ornos is one of the many beaches and is one to visit.

Crete

Another popular Greek island, Crete is the largest of them all. With all the extra space, there’s room for all kinds of activities. Besides gorgeous beaches, visitors can experience the beauty on different hiking trails throughout the island. There are also educational historic sites that make for great photos to post on Instagram. This city is another must-visit when planning a trip to Greece.

If you have enough time, visit all three islands and choose for yourself which one is best.

How to Explore Neuschwanstein Castle

Most people know Neuschwanstein Castle as Walt Disney’s inspiration for both Cinderella’s and Sleeping Beauty’s castles, but it is also filled with history and stories from German royalty. In 1868, King Ludwig II began construction of the medieval-style castle to live in. Sadly, it wasn’t finished before he died, so the king never got to see the finished product. Today, the castle is privately owned, but travelers can still explore it on a guided audio tour.
