The boardwalk is filled with family fun: Go mini golfing at Kongo Falls, experience the rides at Castaway Cove, grab a bite to eat at Manco & Manco’s and much more.
Wildwood
Wildwood is one of the farthest shore points in New Jersey and is filled with fun. One of the most popular weekends in Wildwood is Beach Blast, a soccer tournament where teams sign up to compete on the beach. At night, head to the boardwalk for tons of rides, games and fun. While in Wildwood, stop by Menz Restaurant and Bar for great food and awesome decor.
Sea Isle City
Sea Isle City has beautiful beaches and plenty of things to do during the day, but it’s well-known for its popular bar scene. For great drink specials, head to Ocean Drive straight from the beach for “No Shower Happy Hour.” At night, make sure to stop by Dead Dog Saloon and LaCosta Lounge & Deck Bar. LaCosta is closing after summer 2020, so make sure you visit soon.
Stone Harbor
Stone Harbor is more relaxed than other beach towns in New Jersey. The houses are a little pricier, but worth the money. If you like to shop, Stone Harbor is the beach town for you. Downtown Stone Harbor offers tons of little shops ranging from boutiques to general stores, and more.
Belmar
If you are looking for a low-key beach trip, head to Belmar. I normally go to Belmar as a daytrip, but you can also rent properties to stay longer. The beaches aren’t too crowded and there is tons of free parking. If you like Mexican food, grab a taco at Surf Taco or, if Italian is more your thing, Vic’s Pizza is the place to go.
