You don’t need to be out in a rural area to experience stunning parks. There are plenty of cities around the world with beautifully kept urban parks. These are our favorites.
Central Park, New York City
Located in the heart of Manhattan, Central Park is an iconic New York City landmark. The park covers more than 800 acres and is open to the public year-round. It is home to an ice skating rink, zoo, carousel, sports facilities and theater, in addition to its sprawling green space.
Parque Ibirapuera, São Paulo
The urban park in Brazil is the most visited in all of South America. Just less than 400 acres, Parque Ibirapuera is the largest in São Paulo. There are areas for being active, including biking and jogging lanes and exercise stations. The São Paulo Museum of Modern Art is also located on site.
Stanley Park, Vancouver
This park is Vancouver’s first and largest park. Stanley Park is situated in downtown Vancouver, where the English Bay and Vancouver Harbor meet. The park offers miles of walking and biking trails, beaches and cultural attractions including Canada’s largest aquarium.
Ueno Park, Tokyo
Ueno Park is one of the most popular in Japan, thanks in part to its spectacular display of cherry blossoms in the spring. The park is home to numerous other plant life, as well as the Tokyo National Museum.
Live in the eastern half of the United States? You can get fresh meals sourced from New England farms from Azuluna. The healthy meal service provider was founded by a group of Connecticut-based farmers, chefs and nutritionists, with an aim to provide New England locals with well-balanced entrees and side dishes that support New England farms. Now, the business has expanded beyond New England.
We can see it now and remember when it happened to us: Watching as the black car icon loops around and around, seemingly endlessly, and our wait time on the rideshare app continually changes. Long wait times and confused drivers are just a few bothersome issues that can nag at rideshare users. Need a solution? Ditch rideshares altogether in favor of renting a car on your next trip.
For some reason when everyone hears snow is coming, they runs to the store for milk and bread. They are definitely not the first things I run to the store for. Instead of milk and bread, make sure you have these things stocked up to have the best snow day yet.
