    Winter is the perfect time to visit the Eternal City of Rome. While temperatures drop a bit and you’ll want to bundle up, crowds are much thinner — making it easier to enjoy renowned sights including the Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum and St. Peter’s Basilica. Warm up after sightseeing with a classic cappuccino or plate of pasta.

    The heat in Dubai most of the year can be intense, but in the winter the temperatures cool to the low 80s/high 70s — making it the perfect time to tour the Dubai desert or lounge on Jumeirah Beach. For a classic winter experience, visit the massive indoor Ski Dubai complex, boasting five ski runs, a freestyle snowboard zone, chairlift and toboggan runs.
