“BodyHoliday is thrilled to host the WellFit with Julien Alfred program this year,” said Andrew Barnard, CEO, Sunswept Resorts. “We’re proud to welcome back Julien, a cherished part of our BodyHoliday family, to help inspire, educate, and uplift our guests — and give back to the community in a meaningful way.”
Alfred made history in the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning gold in the Women’s 100m. The retreat, part of the resort’s 2025 Feature Months, will allow guests to train alongside her and other elite athletes. She co-leads the 1.5-hour sessions that will mirror the high-performance routines that led to her Olympic glory.
Alfred will also prepare custom workout programs and take-home handouts with sample routines and expert tips.
“Training — both mentally and physically — has always been a personal passion,” said Alfred. “I’m honored to bring my experience back to BodyHoliday, help guide our guests and inspire others on their fitness journey.”
Here’s a closer look at the week’s highlights:
- Daily morning sessions (1.5 hours) led by Alfred and friends
- 8 lunch with a motivational talk, mindset and Q&A
- 10 lunch with a workshop: Designing Your Personal Workout Plan
- Ongoing social, fitness and recovery programming throughout the week
BodyHoliday also has an ongoing partnership with The Julien Alfred Foundation, which supports young athletes and underprivileged communities across Saint Lucia. The week will conclude with a fundraising cocktail event on the evening of Oct. 11. This special event will have an auction and jewelry showcase. Limited tickets are available.
