Is everything really bigger in Texas? It might be up for debate, but one thing’s for sure: There’s a new biggest hotel suite in Austin this year, with W Austin recently undergoing a huge transformation that included the introduction of its new Penthouse I. The suite measures in at nearly 1,800 square feet. (If that wasn’t enough, the hotel also now boasts the most two-bedroom suites out of any other hotel in the city.)
So, what can you expect if you stay in this supersized suite?
The luxury suite offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a separate living room, panoramic views of Lady Bird Lake and the skyline, and a separate service entrance. Special features include marble finishes in the bathroom (with its soaking tub), a Miele espresso machine and upgraded bath amenities.
The hotel’s premium suites are situated on the building’s 16th floor, where guests also enjoy personalized concierge service and carefully curated collections of local art.
Even if you don’t book this brand-new, ultra-large suite, you can still enjoy all the perks of the hotel’s overhaul. In addition to newly revamped guestrooms, the property also now sports a new coffee shop, by-reservation-only cocktail bar and brasserie.
