Blake’s Lotaburger
Open since 1952, the popular burger joint is known for its cheeseburger topped with local green chiles. Burger meals with a side and drink cost about $5–7. There are multiple locations in Albuquerque, plus more throughout New Mexico and in Texas and Arizona.
Coda Bakery
The Vietnamese bakery and deli offers traditional Vietnamese classics, including noodle bowls, spring rolls, pastries and sandwiches. Spring rolls come two to an order for $4.65 and all sandwich varieties cost $6.50.
El Modelo Mexican Foods
Serving customers since 1929, this Albuquerque mainstay offers traditional Mexican fare at a fair price. Expect to see items like burritos ($3), enchiladas ($2.80), tacos ($2.15), tamales ($2.50) and platters starting at $6. Breakfast options are also available.
Rebel Donut
Breaking Bad fans, head to this donut shop offering a donut inspired by the award-winning series. The Blue Sky donut is a vanilla cake donut topped with blue cotton candy icing and blue rock candy. There are plenty of other classic and unique flavors. Donuts start at 99 cents each or $11.49 for a dozen. There are two locations in Albuquerque.
