Burt’s Bees for Sensitive Skin

Finding a moisturizer and eye cream for the most sensitive of skin is a difficult process. Add to this the expense of beauty products — made with natural ingredients or not — and it can be a pretty frustrating journey of trial and error. Luckily, Burt’s Bees expanded its range of products over the last years and refined them quite nicely into everyday lotions you can actually use.

The most mild of the bunch is the Daily Moisturing Cream for Sensitive skin with cotton extract. This cream is not too heavy and moisturizes without leaving a residue. The cotton extract contains Vitamin E, great for maintaining the lipid barrier in skin while also reducing inflammation.

The great thing about these products is the emphasis on hydration; they also contain zinc oxide, a mineral protectant against the sun. This line also includes a gentle face wash, eye cream, night cream and makeup removing towelettes. None of these products will cost more than $15 and they are available online or at any local drugstore.

The other positive is they are made from 98.9 percent natural ingredients. It is not perfect, but a good start for a product that won’t upset your already sensitive skin.
