Normally when headed to California you expect to be greeted with sunshine and hot weather, but when you head to this part of California during the winter months, expect to experience the opposite.

The Village Lodge is located in Mammoth, California. This luxury lodge is nestled right in the heart of Mammoth and offers prime experiences. Headed to the slopes? Hop on one of the lodge’s gondolas that will take you right where you want to be for some prime skiing and snowboarding. The gondolas don’t only take you to the slopes. Take a scenic ride to the top of the summit and take in amazing views. Enjoy a nice lunch with panoramic views and snap a couple pictures.

Take a break from the slopes and head to town for some of the best shopping and dining. All year-round the town offers entertainment so you will never be bored. While out on the town make sure to keep an eye out for bears; it’s not a rare occurrence for one to be spotted there or around the lodge.

The Village Lodge is also a great destination for summertime. Enjoy a day on the lake fishing, boating or just hanging out. The Lodge has an outdoor adventure center that offers fun for all ages.
