Carnival Cruise Line Announces New Ship Coming Summer 2029

Carnival Cruise Line recently unveiled its newest ship, Carnival Destiny, set to sail in summer 2029. This marks the first of three vessels that are part of the next generation of Carnival ships. 

Part of Carnival’s Ace Class, guests on board can expect bigger and better when it comes to engagement and experience. More than 70 percent of the ship’s attractions and venues will be completely new to Carnival Cruise Line ships, including next-generation bars and lounges, newly designed dining experiences, lively entertainment, and redefined outdoor spaces fit for all members of the family.

“With this ship, we’re elevating the guest experience again creating a ship that feels more expansive, while helping guests feel more connected and ultimately have more fun,” said Christine Duffy, president, Carnival Cruise Line.

In addition to reimagined shared guest spaces, Carnival Destiny will also introduce a new way of setting sail through its abundance of ocean-view balcony cabins, upgrades to its lanai deck and more than 4.5 acres of glass, becoming the most outward-facing megaship at sea.

In addition to sights of the ocean from every angle, Carnival Destiny guests can expect to set sail to destinations in the Paradise Collection by Carnival, the largest portfolio of exclusive destinations in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico in the cruise industry.

More details are to be released later this year, in addition to the ship schedule for summer 2029.
