CBD Beauty

Cannabidiol has been around since the 1940s. It isn’t new, but it has gained traction in a variety of areas as of late. It is an oil extracted from the cannabis plant and legal in most states. It is not considered marijuana, but contains some of the same properties.

To make the source of CBD a little more familiar, remember it comes from hemp, used in a variety of ways and does not have the same chemical makeup as marijuana the drug, even though both come from the same plant. Medicinal uses have been in play for awhile, but now the beauty market is turning its attention to the oil. As you would expect, many of these products have some sort of wellness appeal built into them.

For instance, a body lotion that moisturizers and soothes aches, like Lord Jones products. Others, like Kana lavender and hemp sleeping masks, will not only improve skin, but help you sleep.

The beauty market for CBD is not completely reliant on the wellness angle. There is also hair pomade by Malin and Goetz and mascara by Milk. The healing properties of this oil do add some benefit to these products, but you will have to judge for yourself.
