A one-of-a-kind, limited-time art exhibition comes to Miami this fall, the largest collection of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque works assembled from a private collection in Miami in one exhibition. The exhibition, christened Faith, Beauty and Devotion, opens in fall at The Saladrigas Gallery at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School.

“In a cultural landscape dominated by contemporary art, this historic exhibition will provide a rare opportunity to view works by European masters such as Venetian painter Tintoretto, and Baroque artist Peter Paul Rubens,” said Sylvie Daubar-San Juan, humanities department chairperson, Belen Jesuit Preparatory School.
The collection’s 30 historically significant pieces of artwork are compiled by Federico Gandolfi Vannini, a fourth-generation art dealer and owner of Florence-based Frascione Arte, founded by his great-grandfather in 1893.

Vannini said, “This collection from Italy, now arriving in America for the first time, is the embodiment of our family’s constant and passionate pursuit of representations of beauty and history.”
Fittingly, the exhibit’s opening reception coincides with Art Basel Miami Art Week 2023, with a V.I.P. opening reception taking place Sept. 14 and a public opening Sept. 16. While the exhibition is on display, the venue also hosts a series of lectures, panels, dinners and other events, allowing art aficionados and the general public to further experience the pieces on a greater level.
