A new twist on a new craze has come to New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood. At Mesoamerican spot HOWM Cocina + Cocktails, get in on the hype with the Wordle Brunch, Sundays through Memorial Day Weekend, 12–2 p.m., for $35 per person. It’s the perfect pairing of New York’s favorite game with the city’s favorite meal!

For those not in the know, Wordle is The New York Times’ latest word game, with players figuring out a five-letter word in six attempts. To play while dining, guests must prove they have not yet completed the Wordle of the day on their phone upon entry. In groups of five for even game play, each table tries to guess the daily Wordle, with successful teams rewarded; prizes vary, from free dessert to a weekend hotel stay at The Selina Chelsea. The prizes tier based on the number of guesses it takes to identify the word.

The brunch includes an entrée and two drinks. Try the specialty Mornings on the Green, a spicy tomatillo version of the Bloody Mary. Menu items include overnight oats, Peruvian ceviche, sticky bun, shakshuka eggs, brunch taco, pan dulce French toast, yuca fries and more.
