Directly across from Barcelona’s Estació de França is a new hot spot garnering attention since its debut in early March. Clubhaus is a multipurpose establishment, combining elements of a coworking space, bar, games hall, karaoke joint and hipster hot spot that welcomes all walks of life.

Walking into the ground floor of Clubhaus (known as the “Show Room”), guests are greeted by a chic triangular bar with a pyramid of liquor bottles jutting out from the wall and a replica of Michelangelo’s “David” statue with a neon-lit necktie. A few tables are scattered about with a pool table toward the back and wooden risers scaling the front wall, where diners or digital nomads can settle in with their laptops. The menu consists of flavor bombs like tuna tataki tostaditas, Baja-style tacos, a filling quinoa bowl and a whole baby chicken with miso cream and green salsa. Sample one of the three types of espresso martinis or opt for healthier power juices or fermented tea.

Wander down the half-spiral staircase to the Jungle Room, a basement level that feels worlds away from the cosmopolitan ground floor. In the Jungle Room, grab a draft beer or cocktail at the bar, play some pinball, take a stab at table tennis or (if you’ve booked in advance) squeeze into the karaoke room (maximum capacity of 12) for a predetermined period of singing your heart out. The Jungle Room’s menu is all burgers, hot dogs and fries. Both menus are also chock full of vegan options.

Make it to Club Haus before the rest of Barcelona hears about it.
