Five Fields Farm in Bridgton sits in the foothills of the White Mountains and has offered cross-country skiing for more than 10 years. An easy, hour-long ride from Portland, Five Fields boasts accessible trails for all skill levels.
Offering equipment rentals and lessons across a variety of snow-based activities, the Nordic Heritage Center offers more than 12 miles of trails, primed and ready for winter fun. Warm up in the lodge after taking on the easy, moderate or advanced trail.
Another famous name in the game, Sugarloaf really has it all. Skiers, snowboarders and all winter-loving adventurers know this outdoor center for its more than 55 miles of trail loops and Nordic skiing possibilities.
Over in Bethel, Bethel Village Trails offer miles of fun in the winter sun. Hit the cross-country skiing trails, no matter your experience level, and enjoy this corner of Maine’s winter wonderland landscape.
