Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau debuted its Fall for the Arts program. Running through Dec. 7, the event celebrates all things art and culture from immersive public performances to art exhibitions. The event coincides with Art Basel Miami Beach, the 100th anniversary of Art Deco and Miami City Ballet’s 40th anniversary.
The region draws visitors from all over the world with 23 museums, hundreds of galleries and dynamic public art. Fall for the Arts culminates with popular Miami Art Week, Dec. 1–7.
Highlights of the festival include Art of Black Miami, Miami Film Festival GEMS, The ReefLine debut, Miami Book Fair, Actors’ Playhouse’s 30th anniversary season, Miami Beach’s No Vacancy Program, Doral International Art Fair and Miami Beach Classical Music Festival.
“Every fall, the world’s attention turns to Greater Miami and Miami Beach for artistic inspiration,” said David Whitaker, president and CEO, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Our stages, museums, neighborhoods and even our shorelines become platforms for some of the boldest artistic expressions anywhere. Fall for the Arts celebrates this moment in time, inviting the world to discover why our region continues to evolve as a global cultural capital.”
