DopeKicks are the world’s first waterproof shoes made from hemp. These eco-friendly shoes are oddly stylish, 100 percent vegan and made with recyclable materials. The only thing they’re not is able to get you high.
The shoes are made with a combination of super durable hemp fibers, natural tree-growing cork and recycled rubber. One of the coolest aspects of them is the recycled rubber actually comes from competitor’s old sneakers — rubber that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. The rubber is so strong you can fold the shoe in half and it will bounce back to and retain its original shape for years.
DopeKicks are also made with adventure in mind. The soles are strategically carved for maximum grip level while also reducing the overall weight of the shoes. They can withstand rugged mountain paths just as easily as a concrete jungle. The inside soles of the shoe are made with cork that features anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties, meaning they naturally repel bacteria and smell while also providing a soft cushion for healthy feet.
The shoes are ethically made in Portugal and will ship all over the world. DopeKicks are set to retail for $160 a pair, with first shipments beginning in October 2019. Check out the website for more information on features and ways to order.
