Santa Barbara’s El Encanto Hotel recently announced an exclusive partnership with Santa Barbara Sailing Center to expand the hotel’s portfolio of immersive activities designed to connect guests to the culture and vibe of Santa Barbara.
“This partnership is a great example of El Encanto’s commitment to creating unique and meaningful experiences for our guests,” said Gary Obligacion, general manager, El Encanto Hotel. “We are thrilled to be working with the Santa Barbara Sailing Center, a true pioneer in the region’s maritime heritage, and we cannot wait to see everyone out on the water!”
Guests can take in the region’s beauty from private yacht charters, personalized sailing instruction and guided coastal excursions. All include round-trip transportation from the hotel and can accommodate guests of all ages and skill levels.
Santa Barbara Sailing Center offers a variety of experiences exclusively available to El Encanto guests, including Morning Light and Golden Hour Private Charters aboard 32- to 50-foot Catalina yachts. A personal captain leads each charter, which includes a gourmet picnic featuring local wines. Families can take part in Parent/Child Sailing Lessons with hands-on instruction. One-on-one sailing lessons are also offered in single sessions or multiday. Guided Kayak and Stand-Up Paddle Tours, two-hour explorations of the coastline with opportunities to spot sea lions, pelicans and dolphins.
El Encanto also expands its guest experience offerings to include The Art of the Cocktail masterclass, a visit to Santa Barbara Farmers Market with Chef Joel Viehland, guided hikes of the American Riviera, local wine tastings and various wellness activations.
