Winter has started to arrive and, with its arrival, frigid weather to chill even the heartiest of travelers. In fact, unless you are in the few weeks of what seem like the only temperate weather left, there will always be times where you are uncomfortable, be it at the office, home or just out and about.
That is where Embr Wave comes in. The smart-bracelet turns an ordinary-looking bracelet into a personal thermostat. Within minutes, the bracelet has the power to raise or lower the wearer’s temperature by up to five degrees.
The bracelet works by warming or cooling temperature-sensitive skin on the wrist. A new addition to the product, Mobile Control, allows users to treat smartphones like a personal thermostat.
“Being able to adjust your thermal comfort via your smartphone is a game changer,” explained David Cohen-Tanugi, Ph.D., CPO and co-founder, Embr Labs. “The intuitive interface and simplicity of our new Mobile Control feature mean that Embr Wave gives you more control over your thermal comfort than ever before.”
