This sustainable hoodie is made from three cups of recycled coffee grounds, 10 recycled plastic bottles and some revolutionary technology.

The result is a soft hoodie designed for travel and adventure, quick drying, moisture wicking, lightweight and packable. It’s also made to control odors, and offers UV protection to boot.

There is a zip on the front kangaroo pocket to stop pickpockets, plus a loop for your keys. When you want to pack it away, fold it down and zip it up to turn your hoodie into a travel pillow.

The brand behind the hoodie is known as Coalatree and also makes other eco-minded products such as hiking socks made from coffee grounds. They offer bundles if you want to combine the hoody with socks, a hammock or an adventure blanket, and it looks like the saving are quite hefty over buying each item individually.

There are four colors available, all fairly standard for travel gear. The hoodies don’t stand out in a crowd, at least until you look a little deeper.
