A new experience passport from Visit Mesa, the tourism organization for Mesa, Arizona, combines the best of two beverages: coffee and beer.
The new City Limitless Beers & Brews Tour passport is free to use, offers discounts and special savings and allows users to earn prizes as they check in at featured locations. Currently, the passport features more than a dozen local coffee shops and breweries. To get the passport, visitors just sign up online, receive the passport on their phone and start checking in as they visit various included locations (checking in requires getting a unique, four-digit PIN code from a staff member). To redeem available discounts, show the app to an attendant.
The more locations you visit, the more prizes you can win. If you complete five check-ins within 30 days, you’ll receive a branded bottle opener and coaster. If you complete 10 check-ins within 30 days, you’ll get a free t-shirt. If you check in at all participating locations and tag #VisitMesaBeersBrews on Instagram or Facebook, you’ll be entered to win a monthly prize giveaway.
Regarding the passport’s launch, Marc Garcia, president and CEO, Visit Mesa, said, “Our support for small business and lifting up our locals will never wane. We are developing programs like this one to strengthen pillars of our industry, such as bar and restaurant owners, as we gear up for the pre-pandemic demand that is already occurring in our destination. We know that locals and visitors from across the state will be just as interested in checking out Mesa’s burgeoning craft beverage scene.”
