This 14-day trip goes beyond traditional quick stops at well-known sites, designed to appeal to travelers wanting to learn more about the country, its history and culture.

Experience Travel created this new itinerary to avoid a lot of long-road journeys while also showing guests lesser-known parts of the country. The Less is More in Cambodia tour allows guests to meet the local people, taste the food and experience the varied scenery without the frantic pace of a busy tour.
The tour includes learning about local life on an organic farm to experience the ethos of the Smiling Gecko project in the countryside near Phnom Penh. Other activities and experiences include swimming and snorkeling from a beach villa on the tropical island of Koh Rong Sanloem and exploring the ancient temples of Angkor.

Guests also have the opportunity to walk with elephants at a sanctuary in a protected forest north of Siem Reap and discover the charms of Kampot and the famous crab market of Kep. Curious travelers can also explore Bokor Mountain and its surrounding caves, take a food tour with a chef or stroll around the faded colonial buildings and boat yards of the area.
