For fans of all ages, there is nothing more magical than walking into a theme park and taking in all the intricate details. Enter The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort, where guests wander through Hogwarts with Harry and friends.

Start your day in Diagon Alley, strolling  through the famous streets where Harry and fellow wizards shop for school supplies. Stop in Ollivanders. Towering walls hold thousands of boxes stacked to the ceiling, each containing a wand waiting for the perfect owner. You can pick your own unique wand or select an exact replica of your favorite character’s version. Next, stop by Quality Quidditch Supplies to get some gear and spirit wear.

After shopping, line up for Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts for a journey deep underground aboard a mind-blowing, multidimensional thrill ride. Throughout the trip, you’ll help Harry, Ron and Hermione evade Voldemort, Bellatrix, trolls and other creatures on your way back to Diagon Alley.

After exploring Diagon Alley, hop on the Hogwarts Express at King’s Cross Station to ride to Hogsmeade. While traveling along the countryside, keep an eye out for visitors outside the window. Once you get off the train, head to Three Broomsticks for lunch and enjoy all classic British dishes, including fish and chips and shepherd’s pie.

When you are full from lunch, head to Hogwarts Castle to take a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the surrounding grounds while coming face to face with magical creatures. Next, head to Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and go deep into the Forbidden Forest to cross paths with some of the wizarding world’s rarest creatures.

After a day full of fun, don’t leave without enjoying a glass of the famous, delicious Butterbeer.

How to Explore Neuschwanstein Castle

Most people know Neuschwanstein Castle as Walt Disney’s inspiration for both Cinderella’s and Sleeping Beauty’s castles, but it is also filled with history and stories from German royalty. In 1868, King Ludwig II began construction of the medieval-style castle to live in. Sadly, it wasn’t finished before he died, so the king never got to see the finished product. Today, the castle is privately owned, but travelers can still explore it on a guided audio tour.
