Murals Galore, Tours and Sketching
The ViBe Creative District is home to a treasure trove of art galleries, murals, restaurants and artisan shops. In August, guests can watch the walls come alive during ViBe’s annual Mural Fest. Another event to look forward to is the 65th Annual Boardwalk Art Show that takes place Oct. 22–24. The outdoor festival normally hosts 300 artists who showcase their original work in a wide variety of mediums.
Don’t miss out on exploring the imaginative exhibits of Lost Planet, an immersive new museum of gallery spaces designed to engage visitors with wild designs and illusions. Art in the Open Air
Check out the International Sand Sculpting Championship. The castles submitted to the competition are nothing like the sand castles you built as a kid. Sand artists from around the world carve intricate designs along the oceanfront that remain on display for 10 days.
