Festive Spritzes to Enjoy this Fall and Winter

Summer might be gone, but why should spritzes go with it? Fall- and winter-styled spritzes are just as delicious as spring and summer ones, and Cocchi Wines boasts some tasty aromatic wines and vermouths to satisfy both spritz lovers and fall and winter enthusiasts. Making a few tweaks and adding seasonal ingredients to its drinks allows Cocchi to provide a wide variety of flavors for every occasion.

There are some ingredients that embody fall and winter; cinnamon, fresh cranberries, rosemary and pears comprise just some of these flavors and scents we associate with the seasons. Incorporating them not only into the drinks but also into the garnishes makes for the perfect holiday cocktail.

Enjoy this aromatized wine with ice, a spray of soda and zest of rose grapefruit. As a spritz, mix with Brachetto wine and zest of rose grapefruit or lemon. For a tea-inspired spritz, combine Cocchi Rosa with chilled, brewed Earl Grey tea, sugar syrup and elderflower tonic.

For lovers of vermouth, try Vermouth Di Torino Extra Dry Piemontese. Made from local Cortese grapes, the concoction also sees lemon peels, Piedmontese mint, wormwood, coriander, cardamom and angelica for a perfectly balanced flavor and aroma. As a spritz, top with tonic water (or elderflower tonic) with ice.
