Fi is a new dog collar that tracks your dog’s every step and exact location. Essentially an Apple Watch for your pet, it offers a range of functions so you can always monitor your pet’s behavior, no matter how much you travel away from home, with or without Fido.
Fi instantly tracks your dog’s location while in the United States, 24/7, on a new LTE-M network. The function shows you when and where a dog is walking, how many steps they’re taking and more, all with an impressive battery life (three months) that means you put the collar on your dog and then forget about it. You’re also able to track your dog walker or caretaker to find out exactly where they’re taking your dog and when.
In the event your dog leaves or is taken out of what you’ve determined is their “safe zone,” you’ll be alerted, whether you just want to make sure your dog walker is keeping your dog in your neighborhood, or you want to ensure your dog doesn’t leave the backyard. You can create as many safe zones as you want for additional safety while traveling.
Fi allows you to create daily, weekly and monthly step goals for your dog, to ensure they’re staying active and healthy. You can compare their steps with other dogs in your neighborhood and also see when during the day your dog is most active.
The Fi collar is waterproof and chew-proof, and the app comes with multiple owner functions, so you can allow other family members to see your dog’s data.
The Fi collar comes in yellow and gray, with a one-year warranty, and fits dogs with 11.5-inch necks up to 34.5-inch necks. The collar starts at $149.
