Get Through Airport Security Faster with CLEAR

Getting through airport security can be a nightmare in and of itself, adding extra hours to your trip that could better be spent in any number of more enjoyable activities. Programs like Global Entry and TSA PreCheck are helping to make the process a little more bearable, but a new program, CLEAR, is quickly emerging as an up-and-coming way to make things even easier.

The system uses your unique biometrics, such as eyes or fingerprints, to verify your identity. Once you are pre-registered with the system, which takes only a few minutes online, you can go to any CLEAR location to finish the process in person so you can begin taking advantage of the service.

The technology used by CLEAR is Safety Act Certified by the Department of Homeland Security and locations that accept the service are equipped with separate lines for subscribers to make the security screening process smooth and quick.

The cost to utilize the CLEAR system is $15 per month, billed annually. For your subscription fee you can check in seamlessly with CLEAR at more than 65 locations around America, including airports, stadiums and concert venues. Some major airports currently working with CLEAR include Los Angeles International Airport, New York’s La Guardia Airport, Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and Boston’s Logan International Airport.

Additional sites making life easier with CLEAR are New York’s Madison Square Garden and Yankee Stadium, LA’s Staples Center and Seattle’s CenturyLink Field.
