Global Rescue, the organization providing medical, security, evacuation, travel risk and crisis management services, recently conducted a Traveler Sentiment and Safety Survey. The survey showed an increase in cruising confidence following the pandemic.
Of those surveyed, 19 percent expressed feeling safer or much safer taking a cruise as compared to 2021. Travelers look to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for guidance regarding cruise safety. Thirty percent of respondents experienced some travel hesitancy, but the remaining 70 percent reported no anxiety related to travel or going on a cruise.
Overall, 84 percent of travelers are less or much less concerned about travel today than at the beginning of the pandemic.
COVID-19 remains a concern among travelers, with 35 percent of respondents expressing testing positive for COVID-19, experiencing symptoms and being stranded away from home as the top international travel worries. Fifteen percent stated producing a negative COVID test to meet U.S. reentry requirements as their biggest concern.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
