A 90-minute Lexus off-roading adventure through the Tennessee Great Smoky Mountains gives travelers an unprecedented and unusual experience, as the first course of its kind in the United States. The experience is open to Blackberry Mountain guests only.
Guests take the driver’s seat of the Lexus GX and head out on a course designed to test the automobile’s off-roading skills to the max, while simultaneously showing off the region’s gorgeous natural beauty. A personal guide comes along for the ride, helping you navigate your way through six off-road challenges, from log crawls and side tilts to hill climbs and balance beams.
“I love that partnering with Lexus has allowed us to offer our guests the opportunity to explore the beautiful region we live in,” said Mary Celeste Beall, proprietor, Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain. “We always enjoy the opportunity to work with a company that shares our commitment to quality and creating memorable experiences. With the addition of the off-road course, Lexus is creating another layer of adventure for guests to immerse themselves in exploration of the Mountain.”
“Lexus and Blackberry Mountain are a terrific fit as we’re both passionate about delivering amazing experiences for our guests,” said Lisa Materazzo, vice president of marketing, Lexus. “Our GX 460 has off-road capabilities that few luxury SUVs can match, and there’s no better way to experience them than a drive on this rugged and scenic trail.”
If you aren’t keen on the off-roading adventure, but you’d still like to drive the latest Lexus offerings, you can still do so at Blackberry Mountain, with the property’s courtesy fleet of vehicles available to guests.
