Do you have a love of reading and travel? Travel Portland just combined the best of both with a nationwide treasure hunt. In partnership with Little Free Library and Alaska Airlines, Travel Portland just debuted the Golden Bookmark to Portland, a limited-time scavenger hunt with an unbeatable prize.

How can you take part?
Travel Portland hid 10 handcrafted golden bookmarks in Little Free Libraries across five U.S. cities: New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago. In true Willy Wonka fashion, lucky finders will win a literary-themed getaway for two, including round-trip, coach-class flights with Alaska Airlines; a stay at a locally owned Portland hotel; a $550 spending stipend and a custom itinerary exploring Portland’s book scene.
Winners can expect visits to memorable book stores like Powell’s Books, Third Eye Books, Always Here Bookstore, Grand Gesture Books and Vivienne Culinary Books.
