The third Kickstarter campaign from Gravel brings the Layover Travel Blanket to life.
Designed to provide extra comfort and warmth wherever you are, the Layover is a reimagining of the traditional blanket. Made from lightweight, packable materials, it folds down into a tiny package you can take with you anywhere.
While you might want to take your favorite quilt on the trip, it’s just not practical. The Layover means you can stay comfortable without lugging around a cumbersome piece of cloth.
The nylon construction makes it feel a bit like a sleeping bag, and it packs down smaller than most bags on the market. Folded down, it’s barely larger than your fist. There are also leg pockets at the bottom so the blanket doesn’t escape when you move around, and the foot pouches are insulated for extra warmth.
It’s even got a kangaroo pocket for your hands, lined with microfleece for comfort, and an envelope pocket for small items like your headphones, passport and boarding pass.
Use it when you want to sleep on a plane, or spread it out like a rug if you want to lie down in your local park.
On April 1, Virgin Voyages sets sail for an adults-only, luxurious cruise experience. Billed as "floating sanctuaries," ships cater to experiential travelers looking for a mix of luxurious comfort and wanderlust. Debut destinations include the Caribbean, Mexico and the Mediterranean with stops including Marseille and Monaco.
