Fiji is an archipelago of islands that sits in the south Pacific Ocean. The islands are surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches, have luxurious hotels and are a great spot for honeymooners looking to have the most spectacular time.

There are a variety of options available at your fingertips for your honeymoon visit. Depending on your budget, you can book a private villa, hotels or a private island for you and your spouse. Most of the packages available are all-inclusive, accompanied by beautiful views and landscape.

Head to the beach to have fun in the sun. There are various water activities, including cruising between islands and jet ski tours that allow visitors to explore multiple islands in one day. Couples may also choose to explore the waterfalls, the jungle and the tropical rainforest. Couples interested in helping the planet can plant coral reefs while in Fiji.

If you prefer to stay on the beach, sunbathe and enjoy a romantic dinner on the beach at night.

Mingle with the locals and explore the Fijian culture. Visit the markets to see traditional clothing. The art is visible through mats, weaving, bags and carving designs. The carvings have simple shapes and designs and can range from artifacts to statues, and everyday items.

Also, if you and your spouse get a chance, try to seek out performances of the indigenous Fijian dance art form of meke. Seasea is the woman’s fun dance, and meke wesi is the man’s spare dance, usually performed on special occasions.
