Honeymoon in Nice

Paris might have a reputation as Europe’s most romantic destination, but the Mediterranean city of Nice is a far better option for your honeymoon. Nicknamed Nice la Belle — Nice the Beautiful — this stunning, picturesque town is straight out of a movie.

Popular attractions in Nice include Castle Hill, a sprawling adventure at the top of 100 inlaid stairs that provides exquisite views of the town and sea below. Then there’s Old Town, the oldest neighborhood in the city untouched by tourist attractions. Red-tiled roofs, charming cafés and cobblestone walkways make up the majority of the area. From there, it’s a short walk down to the Old Port or the Promenade des Anglais.

If you’re looking to explore more of the region, the Train des Pignes runs from Nice to Digne-le-Bains, past the French Riviera and into the village towns of France’s snow-capped mountains.
