Did you know using OpenTable, Yelp and Resy can mean a restaurant is charged for your reservation, up to $900 per month? Hostme is the new reservation app that can save restaurants thousands of dollars.
Hostme offers you the ability to book a table at all kinds of restaurants, from small, boutique eateries to large, well-known establishments. A startup, it offers more than 1,000 eateries at present, and is currently working to partner with restaurants under the TGI Friday’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Miller’s Ale House and Hyatt Hotels brands. It currently is available in Washington, D.C.; Orlando; Canada; Australia; New Zealand; and across Europe. Current brands that use Hostme include Hilton and Marriott, as well as other, more local or regional restaurants and hotels around the world.
Unfortunately, Hostme is more geared toward the restaurant than the consumer. As such, you can’t simply go to the Hostme website to search for restaurants nearby, view their menu, see reviews and other features available on platforms like OpenTable. Instead, you must already have a restaurant in mind and then book through the restaurant’s Hostme page.
However, Hostme does offer one key feature that sets it apart. Diners can get in line for a table online, so there’s no walking up to the hostess station and asking for a buzzer. Instead, you just get in line from the bar or nearby, and you’re sent a text when your table is ready.
Hostme is currently available in English, French, Danish, Italian, Spanish, Bosnian, Portuguese, Russian and Mandarin.
