You’ve probably heard you can book a stopover experience in Iceland when flying with Icelandair (that possibility was widely publicized when the destination gained immense traction in the 2010s). However, did you know you can also book a stopover experience in Dubai?

If you’re flying Emirates, you can book a trip that includes a Dubai stopover experience package, whether you want to stay just a day or a few days in the destination before heading on your way, making your planning easier. Dubai Pass, which provides bundled passes to many of the city’s top attractions, also offers a Stopover Pass, which combines prepaid tickets for two with three or four Dubai experiences, which you can use over 36 hours.

What should you absolutely make sure you see if you only have a limited time in Dubai? Start with a tour of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and make reservations at the tallest restaurant in the world, At.mosphere. Indulge in some shopping at the world’s largest mall; Dubai Mall has more than 1,200 shops, an ice rink, aquarium and more. If you have extra time, head out to one of the city’s beaches and tour Old Dubai and its markets.
