Want to see the top spots in Vegas in less than 24 hours? Here’s how to get all the quintessential Vegas activities on your one-day itinerary.
Visit a Vegas buffet for breakfast and fuel up for the big day ahead of you. Four Seasons Hotel’s Veranda restaurant provides open-air dining as early as 7 a.m., with an amazing buffet on the weekends.
Then, it’s off to see the iconic Las Vegas welcome sign (take an Uber, unless you’re interested in sweating quite a bit), where you’ll get the requisite selfies.
After, it’s time to head to the main part of the Strip itself. You’ll be weaving in and out of several casinos, in order to see the top attractions (and, best of all, this is free, unless you make a few extra stops to gamble along the way). Head to the Forum Shops at Caesars for a little taste of ancient Italy, the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and the Venice canals at the Venetian Hotel and Casino. Enjoy The Park, right beside T-Mobile Arena, and grab a bite to eat for lunch.
Following lunch, hustle over to the other side of the Strip to take a walk down the Linq Promenade for a ride on the new High Roller. For a more adrenaline-packed ride, try the Big Apple Coaster at the New York-New York Hotel. If you have a little cash to spare, this is also a great time to book a helicopter ride over the city. You can see the entire Strip via helicopter in just 12 minutes.
As the sun begins to set and the lights begin to flicker on, catch a Bellagio fountain show, occurring every 30 minutes and timed to popular music. For a dinner that hits all the top culinary spots in Vegas, book a Lip Smacking Foodie Tour to try five different favorites while receiving VIP treatment the entire time.
After dinner, don’t forget to get a few shots of the Strip in all its finery, before heading off to grab some drinks at The Cosmopolitan. If a show is your thing, catch a late-night feature, whether you prefer high-flying acrobatics or a stellar musical act. If not, grab yet another drink and hit the Strip, stopping back in your favorite casinos from the day to do a little bit of gambling.
