Everyone who has an Instagram account loves to see the little heart icon pop up when they post photos. Finding the right place to snap a really interesting picture can sometimes be hard when visiting a new city. Here are some places in Philadelphia to channel your inner photographer and generate some likes for social media.
This location is vibrant and fun with a Ferris wheel, carnival games and a roller-skating rink. The bright colors make it the perfect place for an awesome summertime post. In the winter, the area transforms into a winter wonderland. The roller-skating rink converts into an ice-skating arena, making this place great for photos all year-round.
This historical location is home to an inactive Naval aircraft carrier ship. The eerie ship is massive and slightly rusty, which adds a bit of mystery. Black-and-white photos look best from this location.
Located in the historical buzz of the city, Elfreth’s Alley is the nation’s oldest inhabited residential street. The street is narrow, so cars are prohibited. You can truly capture the essence of historic Philadelphia with a photo here, with surrounding red brick, wooden shutters and lanterns that light the street.
Ghost hunting and photo taking are two fun things you can do at this amazing, but dark site. Although you have to pay an admission fee to see the inside of the castle-like jail, taking photos on the outside is free.
Race Street Pier
Beautiful in the day or night, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge is an Instagram gold mine. With a city skyline in the background, the river and the massive structure, likes will skyrocket with this location.
