K1 Smart Lock Box

Whether you’re having family and friends pet sit while you’re away or are hosting your own Airbnb, the K1 Smart Lock Box could help you along the way. The device allows you give access to your property with having to change the locks.

The lock box works through the use of a dynamic passcode. Homeowners and landlords can generate a password remotely through a compatible app to send to friends or guests. The password is good for five minutes, so you don’t have to worry about it being passed along later on. Once the guest uses the password it gives them access to the lockbox, where you can leave a set of keys.

If you’re unable to wait for your guest to arrive, you can set a temporary password with a set time window. This allows you to manage the time that guests arrive at your home without having to be at their beck and call. Additionally, you grant permission in app. This lets your guest access the lock box using their own phone for a set period of time. None of those work for you? That’s okay. K1 also contains a permanent password feature for family members and even fingerprint access you can set up before your trip. It stores up to 50 fingerprints at a time. Why would you give that many people access to your home? Who knows! But you can.

The device also keeps an access log so you know who’s coming and going at all times. Installation is simple and can be done with either a bolt or doorknob shackles.
