Hotel

A few short blocks from the Guadalquivir River sits an unsuspecting lodging option in the same building as an olive oil company, confirming the fact you are in Spain.

La Flamenka Hostel´s rates are formidable (as low as €17 euros per night), especially during the off season, and its staff members welcome you with a friendly ¨hola.¨ Shared rooms and bathrooms line a lengthy white-washed corridor with small windows peering out to the street below.

Climb the steep stairs to the indoor lounge where a living room includes a television, sofas, colorful pillows and an acoustic guitar available for playing. An adjoining kitchen features a communal refrigerator, stove and central dining table where a minimal daily breakfast is served.

The real appeal of this hostel is its rooftop patios. One door from the kitchen and another door from the living room both lead to separate patios where the southern Spanish sun shines over views of the Seville Cathedral. Benches, chairs and tables invite guests to relax, dine and socialize with fellow travelers. An outdoor tiki bar opens at night where guests can mingle under the stars before setting out to explore Seville’s nightlife.

The location of La Flamenka Hostel puts you a short walk from the most sought-after sights like the Torre del Oro, Seville Cathedral, Alcazar of Seville and a bit further to Plaza de España.

La Flamenka´s knowledgeable staff can assist you in planning daytrips to Granada or Cordoba, and can also help organize nights of flamenco shows or bar crawls, guaranteeing an unforgettable trip to the capital of Andalusia.
