open and welcoming atmosphere for tourists. Nowhere is this more apparent than Prague, arguably one of the gayest cities on the continent.
Prague is host to numerous LGBTQ+-friendly events throughout the year, including Prague Pride and Freedom Night, a monthly smattering of parties throughout the city that cater entirely to lesbians. There’s also Homosteria, a bi-monthly queer party at Ankali featuring incredible live music and a bit of spice. Mezipatra is a queer film festival in Prague that highlights the best in LGBTQ+ artists and filmmakers.
The city is full of quaint cafés and bars that cater to LGBTQ+ guests. Termix and Friends Club both boasts dance floors and are the best places to party. If you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe, check out The Saints Bar, Q-Café or Piano Bar, the oldest LGBTQ+ bar in Prague.
All of your time in Prague need not be spent exploring the gayest parts of the city. The City of a Hundred Spires contains some of the most breathtaking architecture in Europe, and a stroll through the center of town is a must. You’ll also want to experience Prague Castle and the stunning Charles Bridge. Be sure to stop by the Astrological Clock in Old Town and prepare to be blown away by the stunning Gothic skyline as the sun goes down.
Prague is often referred to as Disney Land for adults, and is a must for travelers both LGBTQ+ and not. The stunning scenery here is worth a visit alone, and you’ll find the locals both warm and welcoming to strangers of all kinds.
