For a fun, trendy night out in the Big Apple, you may want to check out Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge. Located at 7th Avenue and 36th Street on the rooftop of the Moxy Hotel, this fun bar experience will keep you and your group entertained for hours.
Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge is an indoor and outdoor facility that can be enjoyed any time of the year as the outside portion is winterized in the colder seasons. The bar is known for its carnival-like theme. The east side of the building overlooks the Empire State Building and is decorated elegantly with lights and elephant statues. The west end has a rotating seating area that mimics an antique carousel. The bar also features a miniature golf course designed by the TAO Group. The mini golf area, called Foreplay, has massive cartoon animals scattered around in flirty poses. As for food and drink, the bar is famed for its sharable cocktails presented in glittery disco balls and boozy cupcakes. There is a minimum spend requirement for guests who wish to be seated.
Visitors are highly encouraged to make reservations online or over the phone before attending as the bar is popular and fills capacity quickly.
Barcelona has seen a recent influx of craft cocktails bars within the past five years or so, and Sant Antoni seems to be one of the city’s epicenters of such swanky watering holes. Amid the crisscross streets, organic grocery stores and the soon-to-open, recently renovated Sant Antoni market is Bitter, an inconspicuous cocktail bar where there’s more than meets the eye.
Bleisure — it’s a term we’re all familiar with these days. After all, millennials drive the rising trend, combining business and leisure trips regularly. Take a few days to decompress in a new destination after a hectic schedule of meetings and business.
Friends and family members of travelers are always looking for the right gift. It’s hard to find something that will surprise a traveler and also be something they use often. Many are trying to look past the typical gifts travelers get, such as notebooks and pens, and looking more toward destination-specific or more unique items. Gift giving can be difficult for some that don’t know what a traveler is looking for or needs, but these three gifts are a great starting point.
We can see it now and remember when it happened to us: Watching as the black car icon loops around and around, seemingly endlessly, and our wait time on the rideshare app continually changes. Long wait times and confused drivers are just a few bothersome issues that can nag at rideshare users. Need a solution? Ditch rideshares altogether in favor of renting a car on your next trip.
